Daylight video wall for an NFU Mutual team meeting
A 4m x 2m outdoor LED wall, PA, wireless mic and generator for a presentation day in a stretch tent, where projectors would have been washed out by daylight.
Display video content and presentation slides inside a stretch tent in full daylight, with clear speech reinforcement for the presenters.
We were asked to provide a video display system inside a stretch tent to show video content and presentation slides during a team meeting.
The challenge
Stretch tents let in a lot of daylight. Projectors and screens were not an option, because the picture would have been washed out.
What we delivered
We deployed our 3.9mm pixel pitch outdoor modular video wall at 4m wide by 2m tall, controlled with a Novastar processor. Running at half brightness it was still clearly visible across the tent.
To make sure the presenters were heard cleanly we paired the wall with a Danley PA system and a Sennheiser wireless microphone. Site power was limited, so we also brought one of our 60kVA road-tow generators.
"Wow, that's bright."
