Event production for Hawkstone at The Farmer's Dog
An overnight build, a Danley PA, a 7m x 3m LED wall and radio mics for a whole choir: a private launch for Hawkstone's new TV adverts, delivered without disrupting a working pub.
Oversee production for a one-off private launch of Hawkstone's new TV adverts, with a full day of live entertainment and a tasting tent, built overnight so the pub could trade as normal.
Hawkstone asked Loud Hire to oversee the event production for a private launch of their new television adverts, held at The Farmer’s Dog in the Cotswolds.
The event
The day was built around live entertainment: several bands, The Wurzels and beatboxers, plus a live performance from The Farmers Choir, each singer on their own radio microphone. A separate stretch tent hosted product tasting. Because the venue is a busy working pub, everything had to be built overnight and be ready without disrupting the day’s trade.
What we delivered
Big Stage Hire provided the 10m x 6m stage. We populated it with a Danley Sound Labs PA system and a deliberately understated lighting design that suited a daytime, outdoor audience. To launch the adverts themselves we supplied a video playback system feeding a 7m x 3m LED video wall rigged above the stage.
The overnight build went to plan and the whole day ran without a hitch. The adverts went on to be banned by the broadcasting regulator, which only added to the story.
