The brief

Provide the sound system for the cider night headline show, with a clean line into the touring production's own mixing and control network.

The cider night at Bath Racecourse is one of the busiest events of the year, with more than 5,000 keen cider drinkers in front of the stage to see their favourite act, The Wurzels. A country classic with the odd remix in the set, it is always a show to remember.

What we delivered

We used our Danley Sound Labs J7-95 system with four BC415 subwoofers. The system ran with around 40% headroom for most of the night, which is exactly where we like it. We also installed Ethercon and Cat6 lines so the touring production team could run their own Allen & Heath stagebox and control network straight into our system.

The night went extremely well, and we have provided sound for The Wurzels at the racecourse and elsewhere since.

"Feedback from our regular fans said it was one of the best sounding shows they have ever done."
