Wireless microphone hire: Sennheiser EW-D racks ready to go

More than 60 channels of Sennheiser EW-D and EW-DX wireless in ready-racked 4-way and 8-way systems, with theatre headsets, capsule options, IEM and help with OFCOM licensing.

Eight-way Sennheiser wireless microphone receiver rack in a flight case

We have a range of wireless microphone transmitter and receiver options. Our Sennheiser EW-D radio systems offer excellent quality and reliability whatever the size of the production budget, and we stock more than 60 channels of wireless across Sennheiser EW-D, EW-DX (with Dante) and IEM systems.

Options

For theatre we pair EW-D beltpacks with two headset options: standard low-profile theatre headsets for economy hires, or Rode head mics for larger productions.

Handheld transmitters have interchangeable capsules. As standard they come with Sennheiser MMD 835 capsules; sE Electronics V7 (MC1), Neumann KK 205 and Sennheiser MM 435 capsules are also available.

Batteries are your choice. Handhelds and beltpacks take two AA batteries each, which gets expensive over a long run, so ask us to include lithium-ion rechargeables in your quote if you would prefer them.

Pricing

Our hire price per radio microphone channel is £26 + VAT per day or £55 + VAT per week, including antenna distribution and a pair of Sennheiser ADP UHF passive directional antennas for the systems to run through.

Racked and ready

We have been supplying radio microphone systems to production venues, theatre schools and event spaces around Bristol, Bath and Gloucestershire for more than ten years, and we have configured our racks to be as quick to deploy as possible.

On the back of our 8-way racks you will find power link in and out (no chains of extension leads between racks), RF in for the antennas, which can clamp to the nearest railing or mount on a mic stand, and a multipin CEEP audio output. Each rack ships with a 3m CEEP-to-XLR loom so every channel reaches the mixer down one cable, with each XLR numbered to match its receiver. Sliding doors mean no case lids lying around the stage.

As well as dry hire we can include set-up and basic training for technicians new to our systems, and we can guide you through OFCOM licensing for your event.
